The Academic Council

• the Vice-Chancellor who shall be the Chairperson.
• three persons from amongst teacher educators or educationists of repute or who are not in the service of the University and nominated by the Government.
• a nominee of the University Grants Commission or its successor.
• a nominee of the National Council for Teacher Education or the regulatory body as may be instituted by the Central Government.
• all Heads of the Schools.
• Controller of examinations.
• three members of the teaching staff, one each respectively representing the professor, associate and assistant professors nominated by the Vice-Chancellor on rotation as per seniority.
• such other members as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
